You have to have a plan in place and the right tools to manage your campaigns;

You must have a list of users that give you the permission to send them text messages, otherwise you’re spamming them which is against the law.
3) Do not Overcrowd Your Message;
The message that you send out has to be simple, short and actionable, so users immediately understands what your are offering.
4) Time Your Messages Right;
Even though message are read immediately it is a good practice to send out the message at certain time like late afternoons, evenings or weekends.
5) Less is More;
The frequency of sending message out should be 2 per week. More than that can be annoying.
