WHY YOU SHOULD CREATE A GOOGLE MY BUSINESS ACCOUNT

Thursday, 08 February 2018 by admin

Google my business is a free tool that allows your company to increase online visibility. It is very important to register with Google My Business because otherwise you will miss local and international business opportunities.

Once your business is registered with Google My Business you can add a telephone number, website, services, hours of operation and photos. In addition, the tool Insights gives you statistics about the number of clicks and views you’ve had.

Registering with Google My Business will give your business access to a dedicated section called map pack or local SEO results.  For instance, if you search for bakery toronto, a map with local bakeries will appear with business information such as address, hours of operation and ratings.

When you are in Google My Business you will notice that there isn’t a way to add a description of your business. What you can do is go to https://aboutme.google.com/ and click on the plus sign and story and add the description of your business making sure you add keywords that are relevant to your business.

So in short, Google My Business helps your business ranking in google map.

FACEBOOK ADS vs GOOLE ADS

Tuesday, 30 January 2018 by admin

Many businesses invest on advertising on Google Adwords and Facebook Ads to increase visibility, leads and sales, and to find new customers, adopting strategies that align with the functionality of each platform. But what’s the difference between these two ad platforms.
Google is an intent base search that provides result based on what you are searching for. The Google Ad are shown on the top and bottom of the page and in between are the organic results.
Instead Facebook Ad are shown based on the interests you have, not necessarily something you are searching for.
Google makes sense to be targeting people to buy a product or book a flight, because that is the reason why they are typing on google search. People are on Facebook are there to connect with family and friends and they are not expecting to buy a product and therefore if they see an ad on their feed they’ll keep scrolling. Therefore, on Facebook you have to create an ad that has something to do with what your client is interested in. For example if someone likes running shoes, they are more likely that they click on that ad featuring the latest running shoe in order to find out more.
In conclusion Google Ad is an intent base ad and Facebook is to target a group of people.
